Interested in Teaching a Continuing Education Course?

Thank you for your interest in the 911³Ô¹Ï Lifelong Learning & Professional Development.   

• APA-sponsored CEs are accepted by other mental health professional licenses depending on the state.
• Courses must be pertinent to the theory, practice, and methodology of psychology; must be taught at the post-doctoral level; and must enable a psychologist to provide better psychological care to the consumer.
• Materials submitted must clearly demonstrate how the course meets these requirements.

Please complete the APA Promotional Material Document.  The Learning Objectives information should match the information provided in the Evaluation Form.

DAY OF THE WORKSHOP

1. Please designate someone to monitor the sign- in/out sheets we use to award the CE’s certificates.
2. The person must ensure that participants sign-in at the beginning of the workshop and sign-out at the end.
3. We cannot award CE’s certificates to participants who arrive 15 minutes late to the workshop or to those who leave early.
4. A designated person must distribute and collect evaluations at the CE’s conclusion. 
5. Note:  We cannot award partial CE credit unless the sessions are approved separately.

What is Lifelong Learning & Professional Development at 911³Ô¹Ï?

911³Ô¹Ï Lifelong Learning & Professional Development (formally Continuing Education (CE) programs address current mental health issues, fulfill mandatory California Board of Psychology and California Board of Behavioral Sciences licensure requirements.  Our courses are designed to help psychologists, family therapists, professional clinical counselors and clinical social workers stay ahead in their respective professional environments.

911³Ô¹Ï’s Lifelong Learning & Professional Development courses are delivered through a variety of distance learning technologies.

• Fully online
• Asynchronous so you can work at your own pace, and
• Are open enrollment.

What is the course attendance policy? 

To earn full continuing education credit for a course, 100% attendance is required. Late arrivals beyond a grace period of 15 minutes will not be allowed. Partial credit, i.e., less than the course’s approved number of hours, cannot be granted.

What is the withdrawal & cancellation policy?

Withdrawing or Canceling Before the Course Start Date (online course):

Refunds for online courses are only granted to those who have not logged into the course.

Should you need to withdraw or cancel your enrollment from an online course, you are eligible to receive a full refund if you notify ce@alliant.edu.

Refunds will only be given for up to one year after the original date of purchase.
